Police are appealing for witnesses after a silver van was set on fire within a residential area in Dunoon last night(November 28).
Police have said a van was deliberately set alight whilst parked within a car park at Johnston Terrace, Dunoon around 11pm.
Enquiries are continuing and police are appealing for information.
There were no reported casualties following the incident.
Inspector John Forrest at Dunoon Police Office said: “This would appear to be an isolated incident and thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this senseless and reckless act.
“The area will be given extra attention and I ask that members of the community alert police to any suspicious activity.”
